So what's new?.. We have a new beta version of KnightShift
and some models have been changed or replaced. The
new beta 4 once again shows improvements this time
achieved by pulling and hammering on all corners of
the graphic engine, which sometimes works better than
gentle persuasion.
There are improvements to the RTS part of the game
with some options on the building characteristics
and RPG is becoming a game of massive proportions
in itself with an inventory list of around 800 items.
Of course, updates to the game come on Fridays usually
at the same time as I write this and with all the
new stuff to find out about we can spend the weekend
sitting in front of a battery of PCs just to ensure
that our overview of this project does not take a
gentle stroll out of the window. Unfortunately, it
would be a great folly to give you too many details
now as I know that the competition also reads these
pages and they will not be satisfied with the stuff
that has already been nicked. We quite understand;
they also need ideas. We've got them!
And to introduce our new witch, it is enough to say
that she no longer looks like a warty, flying nose.
But after having spent some time at the stylist and
a few expensive boutiques is now very acceptable as
the woman she should be. We couldn't do much about
her moaning and grumbling though, but she will be
liked with her warm heart of molten lead.

KnightShift
on GermanTV! - 3sat @neues - Monday, 5th May 2003, 21:30
p.m. Your ZUXXEZ team has got its running shoes
on to make up for the lost time caused by a TV camera
team and reporter anxious to get KnightShift
and our humble little concern on the box. On Monday
in German television we get a little moment of glory
and a taste of what is to come. It was so exciting that
I ironed a shirt this morning. It all started as a producer
was having a quick breakfast surf and stumbled across
our latest screen shots, which brought the desired reaction
of our work: "Wow! I gotta have that on the show" The
good man has made an excellent decision. |

Good, better, brilliant! I have just seen new water
enhancements in our soon to be released game. Unbelievable,
fantastic, wow! There is every thing from a tranquil
little puddle to a raging torrent and more improvements
to come. Believe me, when our little baby comes on
the market your eyes will have a feast. After about
100 hours recording in the studio the dialogues for
this RTS/RPG mix are just about finished and they
are really good. My personal thanks goes to all the
speakers and actors who have taken great pains to
help make this project what is. And what it is is
f, f, fantastic! I should know because I'm sitting
in one of the KS hot seats.

Work on our baby, KnightShift, in the English
version is coming to a hectic close and the German
version is in the making, and right now in Paris work
is under way for France and the French speaking territories
of Europe by Arxel Tribe. And just to finish for this
week, TopWare is now working in co-operation with SIS
to support Xabre graphic cards. Their card models
200, 400 and 600 will show outstanding, as yet unseen
graphics, making my pet project even better.
Together with ATI and Matrox, we are very happy to
say that TopWare is now working together with the most
innovative and best-known manufacturers of per pixel
shader graphic cards.
